Worker at Fayette County school arrested for marijuana
Deputies arrested a construction worker on Starmont Community School District property Wednesday on drug charges.
Daniel A. Fontes, 42, of New Sharon, was working for a contractor on a project at the school. Oelwein police on Wednesday took a report that marijuana had been found in Fontes' hotel room in Oelwein.
Fontes was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was transported to the Fayette County Jail.
