Eleanor Kaye Burrows, 76, of Cedar Rapids, died on Saturday, June 6, 2020, at Cottage Grove Place. Per Eleanor's request, there will be no visitation or service. Cedar Memorial Park
Funeral Home is in charge
of arrangements.
Survivors include her husband, James; a son, Brent (Kristi) of Orno, Minn.; a daughter, Danielle (Dustin) Kern of Marion; two granddaughters, Kyler Burrows of Orno, Minn., and Dreya Kern of Marion; and two grandsons, Hagen Burrows of Orno, Minn., and Davis Kern of Marion.
Kaye was born March 8, 1944, in Oak Park, Ill., the daughter of Carl and Eleanor (Hufendick) Birkland. She graduated from Oak Park High School, and continued her education at Stephens College in Columbia, Mo., and Michigan State University in East Lansing, Mich.
Kaye married James A. Burrows on April 22, 1967, in Chicago. She was a wonderful wife and mother. Kaye had many good friends and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
