Jeanette Elizabeth Vittetoe, 81, of Washington, Iowa, died Sunday, Jan. 15, 2017, at Halcyon House in Washington.
Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, at St. James Catholic Church in Washington, with Father Bernie Weir officiating. Calling hours will begin at 3:30 p.m. Friday at St. James Catholic Church, where the family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. The rosary will be recited at 4:30 p.m. Friday followed by prayer services at 5 p.m. Interment will take place in Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for St. James Catholic Church, Washington County Mini-Bus or the Halcyon House Good Samaritan Fund.

She is survived by her daughter, Joan (Gary) Stoderl of Mount Pleasant; son, Robert (Brenda) Vittetoe of Washington; son, Donald (Alicia) Vittetoe of Washington; son, Gerald (Debra) Vittetoe of Washington; daughter, Jean (Bruce) Tucker of Show Low, Ariz.; daughter, Julie Vogel of Washington; daughter, Janice (Jeff) Bell of Washington; 16 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She also is survived by her brother, Paul (Nadine) Greiner of Keota; sister, Veronica (Paul) Menke of Raymore, Mo.; sister, Marlene (Patrick) Clerkin of West Des Moines; brother, Marlin Greiner of Keota; as well as many nieces and nephews.
