Detweiler, John
John was born March 9, 1930, in Wellman, the son of Benjamin and Anna (Miller) Detweiler. He served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War, spending three years in Alaska and was honorably discharged. On May 3, 1953, he married Eldora Greiner in Keota, Iowa.
John was a member of All Saints Catholic Church, Fraternal Order of Eagles, American Legion Post No. 298, and Local P-3 Retirees. He was involved with local politics and enjoyed nature, fishing, and spending time with family.
