John "Jack" Joseph Moroney, 67, of Cedar Rapids, died Nov. 25, 2014, at Mercy Medical Center in
Cedar Rapids from complications of a fall. Visitation for Jack will be Friday, Nov. 28, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Fry Funeral Home in Tipton, where funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 29. Burial: Inland Cemetery, Bennett, with full military rites.
A memorial has been established in Jack's honor.

John "Jack" Moroney was born Sept. 26, 1947, the son of Donald and Beatrice (Doyle) Moroney-Vance, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Jack graduated from Bennett High School in 1967 and enlisted in the United States Army, where he served his country for 28 years. Jack then worked for Rockwell Collins for 17 years, retiring Nov. 1, 2014.
John "Jack" is survived by his siblings, Richard (Verlynn) Moroney of South Vienna, Ohio, Beverly (Kenneth) Treimer of New Liberty, Iowa, Connie Bauer of Cedar Rapids, Dianne (David) Delever of Wilton and Dennis Vance of Wilton.
He was preceded in death by his father, his mother, brother, brother-in-law and his niece.
