York, Stella G. Naber
Stella G. Naber York, 95, of Tipton, died Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2010, at Cedar Manor Nursing Home, Tipton. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 16, at Fry Funeral Home, Tipton, with the Rev. Dan Merchant officiating. Burial will be in Tipton Masonic Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
Stella Grace Naber was born July 3, 1915, to Henry and Grace Van der Lann Naber in Muscatine County, Iowa. She and her husband formed the York Real Estate and Insurance business in Tipton.
Stella is survived by her husband, J. Prentice York of Tipton; her two sons, Jerry (Carol) York of Cape May, N.J., and Phillip York of Lonita, Calif.; grandson, Dr. Aaron York and wife Daisy Rockwell of Lebanon, N.H.; granddaughter, Gillian (Butch) Marcello of Robinsville, N.J.; and great- granddaughter, Seratina Rose York.
