Nellie Louise Morden, 91, Tipton, died Sunday, April 27, 2014, at Cedar Manor Nursing Home, Tipton. Services will be held Thursday, May 1, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Tipton. Burial will follow in the Tipton Masonic Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church beginning at 9 a.m. until the time of the service.

Louise was born on June 6, 1922, in Tipton and was the daughter of William and Letta Osceola Griffis Morden. She was a housekeeper and caregiver for many years as well as a longtime member of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tipton.
Louise is survived by her brother, George Morden of Lowden, Iowa; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Lucile Mowry, E. Jane Hawley and Marjorie Kogut; and brothers, Lewis Morden, Robert Morden, LaVerne Morden and Roger Morden.
