Letter: Move Ethical Perspectives to better time

I've enjoyed and learned from the weekly program 'Ethical Perspectives on the News” which KCRG-TV9 has aired at 11 a.m. Sundays for many years. This prerecorded program brings together local experts to respectfully discuss current topics, something which is needed more than ever after the recent vitriolic election. Several weeks ago the program was moved to 5 a.m. This change is certain to drastically cut viewership.
I realize that KCRG-TV9 produces this forum as a public service and, yes, I can set my DVD player to record it at the earlier time, but the change will mean that there will be fewer new viewers. In addition, many people who have watched the show in the past don't have access to recording technology and are unable to see it. This is extremely unfortunate when, as I mentioned above, we are experiencing a lack of ethics on all sides of so many important issues both here in Iowa and across the country.
KCRG-TV9, I wish you would reconsider your decision and move this valuable show to a more appropriate time.
