Broadway at the Paramount: ‘Chicago’

Roll back the clock to the Roaring '20s for this Tony- and Grammy-winning musical spotlighting two rival vaudevillian murderesses locked up in the Cook County Jail. Nightclub star Velma killed her husband and sister after finding them in bed together. Chorus girl Roxie bumped off the lover with whom she's been cheating on her husband. Prison matron Mama Morton and slickster lawyer Billy Flynn turn Velma's incarceration into a media frenzy, preparing the world for a splashy showbiz comeback. But Roxie has some of her own tricks up her sleeve.
