DONNA CURTIN Cedar Rapids Donna Mae Curtin, 85, of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, May 2, 2015, surrounded by family in Cedar Rapids. Funeral Mass: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 5, at All Saints Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids, with Fathers John Flaherty and Kevin O'Dell officiating. A visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, May 4, at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories, with a rosary at 4 p.m. Burial: Mount Calvary Cemetery in Cedar Rapids. Survivors include her children, Kathy (Don) Cope of Troy Mills, Tom (Susan) Curtin of Birmingham, Ala., Judy (David) Dicken of Cedar Rapids, Daniel (Jennifer) Curtin of Mayville, Wis., Don (Cindy) Curtin of Atlanta, Ga., and Ann Marie (Steve Blatnik) Curtin of Edina, Minn.; 12 grandchildren, Wendy Wisehart, Cory (Nicole) Wisehart, Peter (Tanya), Thomas (Laddawan), and Will Curtin, Jason (Phoebe) and Justin (Narisa) Dicken, Kathleen, Benjamin and Hahna Curtin, Tyler and Sarah Curtin; great-grandchildren, Finley, Easton, Piper Wisehart, Ryan Madeline, Connor, Merit Dicken and Mason Dicken; two stepgrand-children, Sara Carney and John Cope; nine stepgreat-grandchildren; her brother, Bob Heffern of Waukon; sister-in-law, Joan Heffern of Cedar Rapids; and beloved nieces and nephews around the country. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter; her parents, John and Anna Heffern; and her brothers, Cletus and Don Heffern. Donna was born in 1929, the daughter of John and Anna Heffern in LaCrosse, Wis. She was united in marriage to Walter Curtin in 1948 in Harpers Ferry. Donna worked at Armstrong's Department Store. She was a member of All Saints Catholic Church and active in St. Ann's Circle. The family would like to extend thanks to doctors Mark Hoganson and Fadi Yadoub for their wonderful care, and the staff of Cottage Grove Place and Hospice of Mercy for the love and care provided.
