Clifford Henry Heitshusen passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Sunday, Oct. 11, 2015, at the Highland Ridge Care Center at the age of 91 years.
He is survived by three children, Arlys (Bruce) Doehrmann, Bruce (Debi) Heitshusen and David (Patti) Heitshusen, all of South Amana; six grandchildren, Mark (Sandi) Doehrmann of Murrietta, Calif., Anne (Steve) Faber of Hopkinton, Jacob Heitshusen of LeSueur, Minn., Hannah Heitshusen of Iowa City, William (Abby) Heitshusen of Gretna, Neb., and Brett (Stephanie) Heitshusen of Boulder, Colo.; six great-grandchildren, Ryan, Nicole, Brianna and Dana Doehrmann and Taylor and Bryce Heitshusen; and a sister, Myrle Stanerson of Williamsburg.
Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, rural Williamsburg. The Rev. Richard Meyer will officiate. Burial will be in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Powell Funeral Home, Williamsburg.
Memorials may be given to the Lutheran Interparish School or Immanuel Lutheran Church.
