CEDAR RAPIDS - Valerie Nichole Johnson and Ryan Jeffrey Sampica, both of Cedar Rapids, announce their engagement.

Valerie is the daughter of David and Linda Johnson of Cedar Rapids. Ryan is the son of Jeff and Sue Sampica of Coppell, TX, and Liz and Clint Wasendorf of Cedar Rapids.

The couple will exchange wedding vows on Saturday, October 31, 2009, during a 2 p.m. ceremony at Antioch Christian Church in Marion, IA.
