Maxine was born Aug. 2, 1929, in Lee County, Iowa, to Roy and Marie (Wilson) Warson. Her younger brother, Martin, completed the family. She attended a one-room schoolhouse where she made lifelong friends. After high school, she attended business college where she excelled in typing.
On June 17, 1950, she married Robert Ruppert. Maxine was a loving wife for 66 years. As a couple, they purchased a farm north of Tiffin, where they worked and raised five children. She was a devoted mother and homemaker. She was skilled at gardening, canning, baking, sewing and crafting. Maxine provided unconditional love, and was kind and cheerful. Her brown eyes sparkled when she smiled. Christmas, attending the Iowa State Fair and annual family vacations were things she always looked forward to.
Maxine is survived by her children: Becky (Dennis) Conrad of Reno, Nev., Patsy (Gary) Kleinmeyer of Lone Tree, Bill (Karen) Ruppert, and Linda (Ron) Alberts, both of Tiffin, and Paul (Irina Kostina) Ruppert of Iowa City; grandchildren, Amy (Mike) Ponce, Casey Conrad, Katie (Brian) Stoklasa, Leanne (Derrick) Klinkenberg, Ivan Kleinmeyer, Rose Woods, Jennifer Ruppert, Caroline (Jason) Schilder, Zach (fiancé Chris Lucas) Alberts, Rachel (Sean Hoefert) Alberts, Sarah Alberts, Alex Ruppert and Marina Kostina; great-grandchildren, William, Connor, and Eli Klinkenberg, Skylar Stoklasa, Nakia and Tristan Tangang, Kaliana Woods and Brinley Schilder; and her brother, Martin (Rose); her sister-in-law, Katherine Hogan; and many nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her beloved farm dog, Molly.
