DEVONTAE LANE STILL UNDECIDED — Devontae Lane got some organized, or at least semi-organized, run Wednesday night at Kirkwood's Johnson Hall. It could have been for the last time. QUOTABLE: 'That there is going to be a minimum-wage increase is laughable on its face. It really is. Not with this Legislature and people who are here and the people who will come back next year. If we're going to talk local control here, let's get it right. We really should. This is an identity crisis.' Sen. David Johnson of Ocheyedan, on a bill that would prohibit local governments from setting higher minimum wages than the state's $7.25 hourly rate
Robert Voets/CBS Entertainment Sarah Lacina, a Cedar Rapids police investigator, holds some prized eggs on that will be a good source of food for the contestants on 'Survivor: Game Changers.' She is returning for another go at the million-dollar prize in the CBS test of mental, physical and social stamina, playing out on a remote island in Fiji.
