Roger C. Davies, 51, of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, March 7, 2015, at Mercy Medical Center following a long battle with a heart condition. Services: 11 a.m. Monday at Teahen Funeral Home, by the Rev. Dustin Vu. Burial:
St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family after 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Roger is survived by his siblings, Barbara (Harry) Hill, Linda (Forrest) Zimpleman, Ken Jr., John (Sharon), Judy (Roger) Henley and Kim (Billy) Hunter; special friend, Linda McClintock; several nieces, nephews, great- nieces, great-nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; and his dog, Reggie.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Roger was born Sept. 6, 1963, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Kenneth and Alice Becker Davies.
Roger loved to sing karaoke, play cards and watch "Wheel of Fortune." He also enjoyed being able to give his many friends rides.
Memorials will be donated to the Brain Injury Alliance of Eastern Iowa and may be directed to the family.
