O'Hare, Kathleen L.
Kathleen L. O'Hare, 86, of 2975 F Ave NW, died Monday, Jan. 11, 2010. Funeral Mass: 11:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Jude Catholic Church by the Rev. Daniel G. O'Hare S.J. Visitation: Wednesday at Cedar Memorial Westside Chapel, 1221 1st Ave SW, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.; and on Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Firtion-Adams Funeral Home, Westfield, Mass. Burial: 11:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Cemetery, Westfield.
Survivors include two sons, Rev. Daniel G. O'Hare S.J. of New York, N.Y., James P. O'Hare and wife Thunhi of Cedar Rapids; daughter, Patricia A. O'Hare of Boston, Mass.; grandson, Patrick V. O'Hare of Cedar Rapids; step grandchildren, Minh T. Tran, Chau H. Chau, My T. Tran, Phi Q. Tran; step great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick G. O'Hare; her parents; a brother, James; and a sister, Mary.
Kathleen was born Jan. 17, 1923, in Westfield, the daughter of James and Alice Mack Welch. She married Patrick G. O'Hare on Nov. 22, 1945, in Westfield. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
