MARY ANN NAEVE
Toddville
Mary Ann Naeve, 78, of Toddville, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2018, at
her home in Toddville. The family will greet friends from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, July 16, 2018, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Marion.
Mary Ann was born Oct. 12, 1939, in Sibley, Iowa, the daughter of Sebastian and Caroline (Van Der Wilt) Groendyk. She graduated from Leeds High School and Kirkwood Community College. Mary Ann was united in marriage to Dennis Naeve on Oct. 19, 1959, in Leeds, Iowa. She was employed as an ultrasound technician for Medical Associates, Cardiologist PC and St. Luke's Hospital. Mary Ann enjoyed crocheting and casinos, and was very crafty. She loved to birdwatch, especially bluebirds.
She is survived by her husband, Dennis Naeve of Toddville; daughter, Kellene (Gary) Ellexson of Rockville, Md.; sons, Mike (Shawn) Naeve of Alburnett and Randy (Kristine) Naeve of Bertram; grandchildren, Sarah Ellexson, Leigh Ellexson, Jacqueline Naeve, Madison Naeve and Ryan Naeve; sisters, Carolyn Beth Keleher and Elizabeth Groendyk; and brother, Edwin (Jane) Groendyk.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Henry; and sister, Shirley.
