Bryce A. Goos, 65, of Manchester, died Sunday, Oct. 4, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, at Silver Creek United Methodist Church, Masonville. Family will greet friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, at Bohnenkamp Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Manchester, and from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday at the church. Burial will be at Silver Creek Cemetery, Masonville.
Bryce was born March 9, 1950, in Manchester, Iowa, the son of Arthur and LaVina (Ammeter) Goos. Bryce was a graduate of Manchester High School. Bryce was engaged in farming in the Masonville area and most recently drove truck. In addition to farming, he enjoyed hunting and the outdoors.
Survivors include his daughter, Lacey (Matt) Carroll of Ryan; three grandchildren, Cole, Avery and Chace; brothers, Marshall Wade of Cedar Rapids, Robert "R.G." Goos of Cedar Rapids and Alvin (Mary) Goos of Masonville; sister, Marie (Leroy) Johnston of Fort Myers, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
Bryce was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister-in-law, Linda.
