Violent treatment of chicks poses risk

Baby chicks are being dumped alive into a macerator in Spencer? This is allowed in Iowa? Violence taken to this level against any living thing makes me afraid for the safety of my family.
I hope the employees involved at Hy-Line have reliable psychological support for their sake as well as ours.
