PEARL "IVAN" EVENS

Pearl "Ivan" Evens, 75, died Sunday, Sept. 20, 2015, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids. A cele-bration of Ivan's life will be at a later date.
A memorial fund has been established.
Ivan was born April 29, 1940, to Pearl Irving "Pie" and Mary (Zahn) Evens. He worked as an over-the-road trucker for a number of trucking firms and was an avid Hawkeye fan.
He is survived by his children, Tammy Kaske and spouse Roxane Bouquot of Rockford, Ill., Kimberly (Allan) Borum of Loves Park, Ill., and Brian (Laurie) Evens of Belvidere, Ill.; his daughter-in-law, Andrea Evens; eight grand-children; eight great-grandchildren; his mother, Mary Evens of Urbana; five sisters, Doris Pugh of Springville, Evelyn (Don) Donley of Center Point, Betty Thompson of Cartledge, Ill., Rose Anderson of Shellsburg and Anna Seebach of Urbana; two brothers, David (Pam) Evens and Gene Evens, both of Cedar Rapids; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, "Pie"; one son, Pearl Irving "P.J." Evens; and his brother, Burl, in infancy.
