AMERICA ON A RUNNER'S HIGH: Picture perfect

Cedar Rapids runner Chris Wolfe is spending the month of August on his third annual running trek across America. Here's an excerpt from his Monday entry on his blog, "America on a Runner's High ... Trails West," written from his stop at Bryce Canyon in Utah:

It was about 27 years ago when I hiked into my first canyon.  While heading down to the Grand Canyon, my family made an overnight stop near Bryce Canyon.  We had never heard of it and didn't know what we would see – it surely wasn't anything that we expected.The next morning, while the rest of the family was sleeping in, my Dad and I decided to head in and do a short hike.  It was an experience that I would never forget.
