Politicians quickly forget their own words

How quickly politicians forget their own words ('Ernst criticizes comedian for ‘bullying' at D.C. dinner,” May 2).
The highlight of Joni Ernst's campaign for Senate was her reference to happily castrating pigs and that she was going to Washington 'to make ‘em squeal.”
Now, as the oil men in the Trump administration pull the rug out from under Iowa's soybean farmers and renewable energy programs, she can't seem to find the words to criticize the very people she helped put in power. Et tu, Joni?
