Noelridge Park getting new pavilion
CEDAR RAPIDS - Noelridge Park, 4900 Council St. NE, is getting a new pavilion.
The pavilion will be constructed near the lagoon, on the site where a previous pavilion was demolished. A notice from the city stated the previous structure did not meet current building codes.
The new pavilion will be 40 by 75 foot with a vented roof and open air structure. ITC Transmission donated the money for materials.
The project should be complete by the end of the summer, but it will not be available for rent in the 2016 rental season.
