Clutier
Leslie H. Sienknecht, 89, of Clutier, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 11, at Clutier Community Church with Pastor Don Drahos officiating. Interment will follow at Oneida Cemetery in rural Clutier. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, April 10, at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Pauline of Clutier; three children, Donna (Dan) Larson of Johnston, Mark (Tracy) Sienknecht of Clutier and Alan (Kristi) Sienknecht of Clutier; seven grand-children, Krista (Ben) Reis, Katie Larson (Jessie Bartley), Kurt (Melinda) Larson, Heath Sienknecht, Devin (Kyle) Mattingly, Bailey (Cody) Hamilton and Colin Sienknecht; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Rosemarie Welton of Cedar Rapids and Peg (David) Dvorak of Elberon; one sister-in-law, Pauline Sienknecht of Clutier; and many nieces and nephews.
