Frese, David A.
David A. Frese, 49, currently of Iowa City, died Saturday, March 26, 2011. Services: 10 a.m. Thursday, March 31, St. Michael's Catholic Church, Norway, with the Rev. Brian Dellaert officiating. Burial: St. Michael's Cemetery, Norway. Visitation: 2 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the church parish center with a rosary at 7 p.m.
David was born Oct. 4, 1961, to Gerald and Carole Ewalt Frese. He worked at Options of Linn County for 15 years and at Reach for your Potential, after moving to Iowa City.
David is survived by his father, Gerald “Yogi” Frese; siblings, Steve (Kelli) Frese, Laurie (Bill) Gates, Mark “Sharkey” (Ann) Frese and Patrick (Mandy) Frese; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Carole; and brother-in-law, David Fults.
David was an avid fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes, Jeff Gordon, Watkins Mudhens and Green Bay Packers.
Arrangements are with Brosh Funeral Service, Norway.
