Gary Lee Kamp was born on May 9, 1941, in Postville, Iowa, to Margaret (Snitker) and Vernon Kamp. He married Dianne Besler on June 30, 1962, at St. Matthew Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids. He worked for Smulekoff's Furniture for 39 years until his retirement in 1998. Gary was preceded in death by his parents.
The family would like to thank Dr. Ghosh and the staff of Iowa Blood and Cancer Care, and St. Luke's Hospice for the excellent care provided to Gary.
