Renee (Akery) Wille, 49, of Mayville, Wis., formerly of Blairstown, died Sunday, April 27, 2014, at

Beaver Dam Community Hospital, Beaver Dam, Wis.., following a brief illness. Memorial Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 2, at Grace

Lutheran Church in Blairstown, with the Rev. David Rempfer officiating. Private family interment will be held at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Blairstown. A memorial visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Grace Lutheran Church, Blairstown.

Renee Jo Akery was born Nov. 6, 1964, in Cedar Rapids, to Richard "Butch" and Connie (Hannen) Akery and graduated from Benton Community High School with the class of 1983. On Oct. 12, 1991, she was united in marriage to Gary Wille at the Little Brown Church in Nashua.

Renee was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Mayville and a member and officer of the Horicon Marsh Classic Car Club. She enjoyed dancing and her two dogs. Renee was an avid reader, an excellent cook and baker and above all a wonderful wife and mother.

She is survived by her husband, Gary of Mayville; her sons, Blair Wille of Blairstown and John Anderson of Waupun, Wis.; her parents, Richard "Butch" and Connie Akery of Blairstown; her brother, Lance (Jessica) Akery of Marion; her sister, Nicole Akery of Blairstown; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Bruce and Irene Hannen; and her paternal grandparents, Dan and Verna Akery.

A memorial fund has been established.
