Nancy A. Krapfl, 66, of Clarke Drive, Dubuque, formerly of Farley, died Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2015, in Dubuque. Friends and relatives of Nancy may call from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Farley, where services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday. Officiating will be the Rev. Michael Schueller and homilist will be the Rev. Gary Krapfl. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Farley. Reiff Funeral Home in Farley is in charge of arrangements.
Nancy was born on All Saints Day, Nov. 1, 1948, in Dyersville, Iowa, to become part of the family of Hugo and Alvina Krapfl. Her education was at St. Joseph's School in Farley and she was a 1966 graduate of the high school. She began working that summer for Dunn & Bradstreet in Dubuque and transferred to the Denver, Colo., office two years later. After 20 years of employment, her position was eliminated in a restructure of the company.
She is survived by her brothers, Ken (Janaan) Krapfl of Monticello and Gary Krapfl of Lansing; a brother-in-law, John Lansing of New Vienna; a sister-in-law, Mary Krapfl Mills of Holiday Island, Ark.; nieces, nephew and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Dick Krapfl, Father Daniel Krapfl and one in infancy; three sisters, Joan Krapfl, Jean Krapfl and Lois Lansing; and a niece, Judy Lansing.
In lieu of flowers, a Nancy A. Krapfl memorial fund has been established.
Her family extends sincere appreciation to all who have expressed their sympathy, prayers and concern at this time.
