MARGARET "PEGGY" DAVIS

Margaret "Peggy" Davis, 78, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Sunday, July 15, 2018, at Mercy Medical Center following a short illness. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, July 20, at Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. Arrangements by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Peggy was born March 4, 1940, in Oelwein, Iowa, the daughter of Leroy and Beatrice (Gray) Hardman. She retired from General Mills, working the assembly line for several years. Peggy enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, and playing with her dogs. She was a loving mother and nanny to her grandchildren.
Peggy is survived by her children, Cindy, Pam, Kathy (Andy) and Kenneth; six sisters; three brothers; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Michael; parents, Leroy and Beatrice; five brothers; and one sister.
