Gentry, Bonnie L.
Bonnie L. Gentry, 81, of Cedar Rapids, died Friday, Nov. 15, 2013, at her home. Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, by Pastor Tim Carter. The family will greet friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 18, at the funeral home. Burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her husband, Charles; two sons, David Stuber of Charlotte, N.C., and Scott Gentry of Cedar Rapids; two brothers, Frank Spencer of Las Vegas, Nev., and Jim Spencer of Whittington, Ill.; sister, Betty Graviette of Opdyke, Ill.; and special friends, Janet Kuenne of St. Lucas, Ill., and Pam Cook, Margaret Whitlatch and Holly Phan, all of Cedar Rapids.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Peggy, Pauline, Wanda, Ruby and Frances.
Bonnie was born Jan. 25, 1932, the daughter of Frances and Eulah (Spencer) Spencer, in Whittington, Ill. On July 18, 1958, she was united in marriage to Charles Gentry in Cedar Rapids.
Bonnie enjoyed camping, fishing and playing Yahtzee. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene.
Memorials may be directed to First Church of the Nazarene in memory of Bonnie.
