Fye, Vicky Lynn Madison

Vicky Lynn Madison Fye, 52, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday morning, Nov. 3, 2010, at the Washington Care Center in Washington, Iowa, from complications associated with Huntington's disease.

Vicky was born May 13, 1958, in Cedar Rapids, to Joyce and Howard Madison.

She is survived by her parents, Howard and Sandra Madison; three children, April (Dustin) Conner, Kylie Fye and Dereck Fye; sisters, Clara Vangen, Connie Hoffman and Candy Woods; brothers, Stephen Avery, Skip Watkins and Charlie Watkins; grandsons, Dylan, Michael, Tyler and Bryce; and a special niece, Amber Madison.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Smith Madison; a sister, Debbie Madison Meyerhoff; and a brother, Tim Madison, all from complications relating to Huntington's disease.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion. Graveside services: 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, at Troy Mills Cemetery, Troy Mills.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking donations be made to research for a cure of Huntington's disease: Huntington's disease Society, Iowa Chapter, 1824 G Ave., Essex, IA 51638.
