Bonnie Louise Rude, 70, passed away June 25, 2018. Her family will greet guests on Saturday, June 30, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Hamilton's on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Pkwy. in West Des Moines, Iowa.
Bonnie was a devoted mother and grandmother. She adored her granddaughter, Ava, and never failed to talk about her to anyone who would listen. Her life centered around her family.
Bonnie also enjoyed gardening and her flowers, reading a good book and dinners out. She had a close relationship with her co-workers at LimoLink, where she worked for 10 years before retirement, and enjoyed social time with them as well.
Bonnie was born Nov. 6, 1947, in Rock Island, Ill., to Kathrine (Hoover) and Lewis Wheeler.
She will be greatly missed by her son and daughter-in-law, Ahmed and Danielle Ibrahim; her granddaughter, Ava; and her uncles, Wendall and George Hoover.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents.
