Shoe store announced for Westdale
CEDAR RAPIDS - North Carolina-based Shoe Dept. Encore will open in late 2017 in the first floor of the former Von Maur building of Westdale mall in Cedar Rapids, Frew Development announced Tuesday.
Operated by Shoe Show Inc., the store will occupy approximately 10,000 square feet, between Younkers and J.C. Penney.
The store will sell 'name-brand shoes” in an open-stock floor plan, said Lisa Rowe, Westdale general manager.
The company has 1,152 locations in 44 states, including stores in Cedar Falls, Davenport, Newton and Quad Cities, Rowe said.
