Sharon Kay Rosenberger, 76, of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2018, in her home surrounded by her family, following a long, courageous battle with multiple cancers. Services: Private. A visitation will be held on Friday at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral home from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Inurnment: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Tom; her daughters, Diana Rosenberger Moulton and Christine (Brian) Rogers; her sister, Judy (Dennis) Usher, all of Cedar Rapids; her grandchildren, Amanda Moulton of Marion, Jennifer Moulton of Cedar Rapids, Miranda Rogers of Chicago, Ill., and Drew Rogers of Cedar Rapids; her nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly; and lifelong friends, Jeanette and Karmen.
Sharon was born Feb. 5, 1941, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Porter "Mickey" and Irene (Sherrets) Vig. She married Thomas Rosenberger on May 17, 1960, in Anamosa, Iowa. Sharon devoted her life to taking care of others and has taught each of us the importance of family. She was strong-willed in faith and family, and had a wonderful wit and a love for family pets. She enjoyed sports, gardening, cooking, shopping and traveling, especially with Irene and Judy.
