Lust, Susan Winona

Susan Winona Lust, 62, of 2914 Springville Rd., Springville, died Thursday, Nov. 11, 2010, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids. Funeral services: 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 15, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion, by the Rev. Del Bear. Family will greet friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial: Linn Grove Cemetery, rural Martelle.

Survivors include her husband, Ronald; brother, Daniel (Sue) Brady of Edgewood, Ky.; brothers-in-law, Lloyd (Barb) Lust of Ogallala, Neb., and Norm Lust of Osceola; nieces, Amanda Brady and Shannon Brady, both of Edgewood, Ky.; and many extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Gary Brady.

Susan was born June 30, 1948, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Rex and Beryl (Richardson) Brady. On Dec. 13, 1975, Susan was united in marriage to Ronald Lust at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. She worked 20 years as a medical transcriptionist for Dr. Montague Lawrence.

Susan enjoyed oil painting, nature, music, pets, and wildlife of all kinds. She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to design displays in her front yard for people to enjoy as they drove by.
