Craig, Carole Jean

Carole Jean Craig, 68, of Manchester, died Saturday, June 12, 2010, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy, Hiawatha. As per Carole's wishes, there will be no services. Her ashes will be buried with her husband at Greenlawn Cemetery, Franklin, Ind. Arrangements by Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids.

She is survived by a son, Tim (Lisa) Holderfield of Cedar Rapids; a daughter, Hilda (Jessie) Bray of Indianapolis; a daughter-in-law, Cindy Craig of Manchester; five grandchildren, Amanda (Don) Kintzle, Shane Holderfield, Brett Holderfield, Dalton Craig and Devon Craig; and two great-grandchildren, Adam Holderfield and Addisyn Kintzle.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Betty Holderfield; her husband, Homer Craig; and a son, Howard Craig.

Carole was born June 3, 1942, in Indianapolis, Ind.

Memorials in Carole's memory for the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy may be directed to Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, 1844 First Ave. NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402.

The family extends a special thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff at the hospice house for the excellent care and compassion given to Carole.
