Strawberry Point
Donna Timmerman, 82, of Strawberry Point, Iowa, passed away Sept. 30, 2018, after losing her courageous battle with ALS at the UnityPoint Health St. Luke's Hospice Inpatient Unit.
She was born to Jay and M. Helen Williams on Sept. 30, 1936.
She is survived by her children Barry (Val) Timmerman, Allan Timmerman (Lois Heiderscheit) and Jill (Brandon) Boock of Strawberry Point and Scott Timmerman of Cresco; and grandchildren, Keane (Michelle) Timmerman and family of Dundee, Kylean (Jeremie) Steger and family of Edgewood, Vincent (Caileye) Boock of Aurora and Dalton Boock of Strawberry Point.
A Celebration of Life will be Thursday, Oct. 4, at the United Methodist Church in Strawberry Point, with a memorial service from 1 to 1:30 p.m. and visitation with the family until 5 p.m. A private family burial will follow at Cass Township Cemetery, Strawberry Point.
