Hegarty, Lukas A.
Lukas A. Hegarty, 4, of Johnston, formerly of Traer, died Sunday, Aug. 21, 2011, at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines, following a lifelong illness. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 25, at the Hrabak Funeral Home, Belle Plaine, by the Rev. Jack Andrews. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. He will be cremated after the service and inurnment will be at a later date.
He is survived by his mother, Nicole Roth of Traer; father, Jason Hegarty of Elberon; brother, Dalton Hegarty of Traer; sister, Hailey Roth of Traer; and grandparents, Richard and Diane Hegarty of Elberon, and Melanie Henle of Marengo.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Laverne Roth.
