Danielle was a kind, thoughtful, loyal daughter, sister and friend, who, with her whole heart, possessed a desire to serve others. She had a passion for music, literature and art. Her thirst for knowledge and God-given abilities were reflected in the beauty she created with her violin, her written words and her artwork. Her infectious laughter and quirky humor were a source of great joy. Danielle possessed a true warrior spirit. Through diligence and perseverance, she earned her third degree black belt. She loved attending taekwondo tournaments and teaching the martial arts skills to others. She was a fighter, who stood strong and firmly for her beliefs, always determined to do what was right. But most importantly, Danielle had a loving, personal relationship with her Savior.
"… Thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. I cried unto the Lord with my voice, and He heard me... Salvation belongeth unto the Lord: Thy blessing is upon Thy people." Psalm 3:3-4, 8
Her family feels truly blessed to have shared her life and to have been loved by her. Danielle was a true testimony of God's love. She will be dearly missed by her parents, Steven and Carol Jones Celarier, and her brother, David Celarier, all of Cedar Rapids.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Dorothy Celarier of Hoffman Estates, Ill., and grandfather, Leighton Jones of Williamsburg, Iowa.
