Martin, Terry
Terry L. Martin, 47, of Iowa City, died at his home on Monday, Nov. 2, 2009. Private family graveside services will be held at the Masonic Cemetery in Tipton.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Terry's memory.

Terry Linn Martin was born July 14, 1962, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Lavelle F. “Shorty” Martin and Alice J. (Deerberg) Martin. His family moved to Iowa City where he attended school, graduating from West High School in 1982. He has been a carpenter in this area for many years. Many also will remember his artistic talents, his passion for NASCAR, especially Jeff Gordon. He enjoyed planting and tending to his garden, and of course, his love for animals!
His family includes his mother, Alice and sister, Valerie Martin, both of Iowa City; grandmother, Frances Deerberg of Clarence; aunts, uncles, cousins and his beloved dog, Trixie.
Terry was preceded in death by his father, Shorty; brother, Kerry Martin; infant sister, Mayanna Sue Martin; and grandparents.
