Stinson, Frances J.
Frances J. Stinson, 83, of Shellsburg, died Thursday, May 5, 2011, at Rock Ridge Nursing Home, Shellsburg. No services are planned at this time. Inurnment will take place in Caldwell, Kan., at a later date.
Survivors include her daughter, Dr. Karen Stinson (Ted) of Platteville, Wis.; daughter-in-law, Valerie Stinson of Shellsburg; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; spouse, Robert W. Stinson; and sons, Richard R. Stinson and Robert R. Stinson.
Frances Jane Korbel was born Dec. 6, 1927, in Caldwell, Kan., the daughter of Lodvik and Wynona (Greene) Korbel. She married Robert W. Stinson on Dec. 28, 1946, in Caldwell. He died May 1, 2003.
