Inmate failed to return after court ordered furlough: Linn County Sheriff’s Office

The Linn County Sheriff's Office is looking for more information on an inmate who failed to return to the Linn County Correctional Center on time after a Court Ordered Furlough.
According to a sheriff's office media release, Katie Lynn Edgerly, 28, was released on furlough on March 13 and did not return at her scheduled time of 6:00 p.m. Thursday evening. Edgerly is currently serving a 120 day sentence for Contempt of Court.
The release stated that Edgerly received the 10-day furlough as was scheduled to happen when she had 44 days left on her sentence.
Edgerly is a white female, five foot, seven inches in height, and weighs 170 pounds, according to the release. The Linn County Sheriff's Department requests that anyone with information about Edgerly or her whereabouts to contact the Sheriff's Office at 319-892-6100 or the Cedar Rapids Police Department at 319-286-5491.
