Kevin Lee Harris, 61, of Cedar Rapids, died April 17, 2018, at UnityPoint-St. Luke's Hospital. Per Kevin's wishes, his body was donated to the Deeded Body Program at the University of Iowa. Teahen Funeral Home and Cremation Service is serving the family.
Kevin is survived by his daughter, Karla, and son, Nicholas, both of Cedar Rapids; two grandchildren, Danae and Drake; great-grandson, Kordell; sister, Kay (Larry) Dietrich; niece, Kelly (Bret) Burkhart; and his aunt, Sharon.
He was preceded in death by his mother, LaVonne Harris; niece, Valerie Schadle; and special friend, Connie Broadwater.
Kevin was born on Jan. 21, 1957, in Cedar Rapids. He married Kristine McClintic. They later divorced. Kevin worked as an auto mechanic for many years.
He enjoyed fixing things and sketching whenever he could. Kevin had a great sense of humor and will be missed by his friends and family.
