Miller, Lloyd
Lloyd Miller, 75, of Cedar Rapids, died peacefully at home Friday, Feb. 11, 2011, with his wife Jean by his side. Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday at Cedar Memorial Westside Chapel by St. Luke's Chaplain Jeremy Hudson. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday and after 9:30 a.m. Monday.
Survivors include his wife, Jean, of 55 years; children, Deborah (Joe) Caw of Shellsburg and Mark (Dawn) Miller, Jeff Miller, Julie (Jerry) Draper and Matthew (Kimberly) Miller, all of Cedar Rapids; sisters, Delores (Warren) Rohach of Tama and Mary Posusta of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren, Josh, Justin, Jacob, Andrea (Matt), Richie, Tabitha (Randy) and Reyne; great-grandchildren, Christian, Nathan, Kiria, Kiley, Isiaiah, Elijah and Owen; and his beloved pets, Molly, Callie, Maggie and Boomer.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Earl; brother-in-law, Larry Posusta; niece, Barbara Hempy; and nephew, Trent Rohach.
Lloyd was born July 3, 1935, in Tama, to Karl and Goldie (Hand) Miller. He married Jean Breen on April 12, 1956, in Toledo. He worked for Penford Products for over 38 years, retiring in 1998. He loved fishing, old tractors and gardening. He was a member of BTCGM Local 100G.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
