Pledge Jr., Alex
Alex Pledge, Jr., 68, of Humboldt, Tenn., formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Aug. 29, 2009, from cancer. Services are pending in Humboldt, Tenn.
He was a father to seven children: Benjamin, Alexander, Raymond, Elijah, Mary Elizabeth, Patricia and Lanora White, all of Cedar Rapids; and several grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alex and Nannie; five brothers and two sisters.
