Letter: Support ward voting in Marion

When we go to the polls, the Marion voters will make a decision on how we elect our city council members.
I do not understand why anyone would object to this change. It is how we elect the board of supervisors, the state legislators and the U.S. House of Representatives. If you think of Iowa as a 'ward,” it is also how we elect our senators.
The ward system works for Cedar Rapids and the U.S. government. It would work for Marion, too.
Please vote yes to the ward voting question and join me in reaching higher. It is the right thing to do.
