Deputies are investigating a sexual abuse case that put a Solon man in jail yesterday.
According to a complaint, a victim came forth claiming Terry Lee Ely, 54, of 2918 Cedar Dr. NE, sexually assaulted her in the fall of 2007, when she was 12 years old.
Ely is accused of entering the girl's bedroom and sexually assaulting her, deputies said.
He was booked Monday morning but posted $15,000 bond later that day, according to Lt. Raquel Wray of the Johnson County Sheriff's Office.
Wray said deputies would not comment further in order to protect the victim while the investigation continues.
Third-degree sexual abuse is a Class C felony punishable by up to ten years in prison.
