Gary L. Peiper, 72, of Mount Vernon, died Saturday, Nov. 1, 2014, at the Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy, Hiawatha. Memorial services: 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, at the Lisbon United Methodist Church, Lisbon, by the Rev. Tom Mattson. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial: Lisbon Cemetery, Lisbon. Arrangements are with Morgan Funeral & Cremation Choices, Mount Vernon.
Survivors include his wife, Linda; sons, Eric (Shannon), Brian (Kim) and Curtis; and eight grandchildren, Matthew, Sara, Jacob (Maggie), Adam, Austin (Amy), Zach, Abe and Eleanor.
Gary was born Dec. 12, 1941, the son of LaVerne and Leota (Jilovec) Peiper.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Lisbon United Methodist Church Window Fund or the Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy.
