A refreshing break from problems

Thank you, Marion and Rich Patterson, on your article entitled 'A Rebirth Among the Rubble,” Sept. 6. While the loss of the century oaks is devastating, new oaks are already forming and now can grow to maturity for future enjoyment. The typical news and editorials this year seem to be focused on the dark clouds and it was refreshing to read of a silver lining.
