Helen Margurite Downey, 96, of Edgewood, passed away Monday, Feb. 6, 2017, at Edgewood Convalescent Home.
Survivors include her two sons, William Downey of Edgewood and Mark (Sherry) Downey of Cedar Rapids; three daughters, Janice (Stephen) Thompson of Denver, Colo., Mary Kay Marten of Onaga, Kan., and Charlene (Jim) Molis of Lakewood, Colo.; 19 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Verla Mae Schultz and Jeanette Gibson, both of Edgewood.

Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 10, at St. Mark Catholic Church in Edgewood. Visitation: 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Edgewood with a 7 p.m. Scripture service. Friends may also call after 9:30 a.m. Friday at the church. Interment: St. Mark Catholic Cemetery, Edgewood.
